Delete your account

You can delete your ttmm account (TTMM SplitCat on Google Play) and your personal data at any time.

How to delete your account

Open ttmm on Android, or open the web app.
Go to Me → Settings → Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in details (email, phone number, Google sign-in link)
Your profile: name, photo and UPI ID
Your friends list and the devices registered for notifications
Your daily entry and Watch & earn balance
Stickers you made

What is kept

Shared expenses and payments stay in the groups you were part of, so other members’ balances still add up. Your name stays on those past entries, but they are no longer linked to an account.
Group chat messages you sent stay in the group, with no link to your account. To remove them, long-press each message and delete it before deleting your account.
Payment records: your ttmm Pro subscription record is deleted with your account, but Google Play and Razorpay keep their own payment records under their policies.

Have ttmm Pro? Cancel it first in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (or in ttmm on the web). Deleting your account doesn’t stop a Google Play subscription.

Deleted data is removed from our backups within 30 days.

Delete some of your data (keep your account)

In ttmm you can delete data yourself without deleting your account:

An expense: open it and tap the bin icon. (Deleted expenses can be restored from the group history until you clear it.)
A group: open the group → edit group → Delete group (once everyone is settled).
A chat message or sticker you sent: long-press it to delete it.
Your UPI ID, phone number or photo: Me → Edit profile, then clear the field.
Everything on this phone: Me → Settings → Clear all data.

Deleted items are removed from our servers straight away and from backups within 30 days. To have any other data deleted, email ttmmsplitcat@gmail.com and we’ll do it within 7 days.

Can’t sign in?

Email ttmmsplitcat@gmail.com from the email address or phone number on your account and we’ll delete it within 7 days.
